Foraminifera
Arctic Ocean
____________
Painted it with self-made pigments and watercolour from deep sea sediment.
Foraminifera are a deep-sea life form, size of a sand grain. They are very sensitive to physical and chemical environmental changes and therefore, are ideal indicators for paleoceanographic and paleoclimatic history of the Earth. They can tell us the sea level, temperature, and ocean conditions of our Earth millions of years ago.
