Ecological Science and Fiction Art

My art focusses on the affective and scientific exploration of nature and the wonderful small and large worlds within it,
sometimes giving
them a fictional touch. I like to paint in great detail, but also like
to create structures and let the colours flow.

Among my materials are watercolour, ink techniques, eco-plant printing and many others. I also explore different
creative processes, and make my own pigments from all kinds
of plants and stones to connect my paintings,
but also myself with nature ever more closely. In this way, every colour I produce has its own characteristics,

origin and story that deepens what is expressed in each painting.

The materials I use are either hand collected by me or my friends and colleagues in the natural sciences, and sometimes even brought to the surface during deep sea expeditions and volcanic research.
