This ‘Great Tit‘ is the largest European tit bird. They have these wonderful bright yellow-green colours and it is fun to watch them flying around. They feed on insects in summer but during winter they are dependent on berries and seeds because insects are hard to find.

This is a New Zealand ‘Tomtit‘. They’re similar to Robinbirds but much smaller. They are very recognisable because of their large heads, short bills and tails. You’ll find them in the forests and scrubs mainly on the South Island of New Zealand.

These birds live in New Zealand and Australia and are called ‘Fantails‘. Their long tails can spread out like a fan to attract mates.
